It's very worth it. All the bonus footage is great, and very informative. also look for special features (easter eggs) in the supplementary disc

i'm still debating thi sone. I want something with DTS, and this doesnt have it. I think dolby 5.1 sucks now. I watched the matrix and the sounds blows, it used to sound so much better before i heard what DTS can do.

there is only so much they can do with a soundtrack this old. DD wouldn't really be all that much better in this case.

Get it- Its pretty much required for any collection! Actually doesn't have the same footage (behind the scenes w/Coppola) from the beginning of the 4-tape series that came out a few years ago. Lots of extra scenes/etc. Picked up a copy at COSTCO for 65.99- cheapest I could find.

Man, you guys really get shafted for DVD's (& CD's for that matter) in the States. Local Costco has it for the equivalent of US$49 (before 14% worth of sales tax of course, though Americans pay only 7%) and you get the French language version included! (probably)

Also just bought the Mummy 2 & the Phantom Menace for about US$15 each (before tax).

Man, I could start a little export business here, couldn't I.
