Does anyone know a good place where I can register a domain name and possibily hosting?

I got my domain(http://bit-bucket.net/) from registerfree.com(really nameengine.com(really openSRS.net)) for nothing. No charges to change DNS or anything.

If you want to register your own domain name, goto www.dotster.com, only $15 for every year, and there's only a 1 year commitment (not 2 like most others). For hosting, I hear www.hostme.com is good, and I can personally vouch for www.prohosting.com. Of course, you could have me host your site, but I ain't cheap

$30/mo, but your domain is free, it's at arshost.com. And the site's just getting started, so the only thing near completion is the FAQ section. Not much details on there, but email me if you're interested. Again, the two I listed above should be good.

Be careful with the discount domain registration services. Read the fine print, there are often additional fees if you have to make any changes at all.

Also, I am not aware of any large domain registration services NOT allowing one year registrations. Get a host first and then have them help you get your domain through Network Solutions.

    Good Luck!

www.xeraweb.com is extremely cheap. 5 bucks a month, and good service.

Use Myinternet.com for your web redirection and email forwarding (it's free!)

and register your domain at dotser for 15 bucks ;-)
