It just occurred to me: buy $150 of Flooz from our friends at AG, then preorder the PS2 at TRU for $150! Get a free shipping coupon and you're golden. Maybe you guys saw this too, and I'm just dense. Ok, happy shopping!

They only double up to $50....

So basically you would get only $50, leaving the PS2 at $250, still a good deal. I'd get the dramcast for $140 instead with the flooz. ($50 off at Toys R Us with free flooz, then $10 visa coupon)

Yeah, that just occurred to me...dang. Is there a way to combine/transfer flooz? Or cash it in or something? That'd be good! Do they have a return policy?

Goddammnit!! Not refundable for cash, nor are they combinable. Does anyone have any ideas how one might convert flooz to cash short of selling it? Let me know...

I know you can buy a gift certificate at Toysrus.com so you could buy 3 at 100 each, but im not sure if you can combine the GC's.

ok, how about this: has anyone returned merchandise purchased with Flooz? What happened? Did you get credit on your credit card, or how did it work? Just the same amount in flooz again? Please post if you've had this experience. I REALLY want that PS2!

Yeah, I thought about the GC idea, but You can't use Flooz or GC's on pre-order items. So at this point, I'm looking at buying stuff w/ flooz and returning it, turning it into cash. I'm trying to find out now if that's possible.

Oh, and AJ, if you order through Brandsforless, you can get $30 rebate through the third party. That's an extra $30 in addition to your visa certificate...

i have canceled an order that I paid with flooz, basically the store that you bought from has to refund your money, i am sure they will credit your flooz account with the same amount that you spent. thats what they did with mine

I just looked at americangreetings, and they have ended that deal.

"Limited-time 'Double Your Flooz' Offer SOLD OUT!
Due to overwhelming participation, the 'Double Your Flooz' promotion has been discontinued. Look for other exciting promotions in the future from AmericanGreetings.com and Flooz.com."

so all you people who got it are lucky, oh well maybe next time.
