the inevitable has come to a head, divorce is imminent, and of course it can't go smoothly, and it's now looking like i may not have access to my home for a week or two. everything oughtta calm down a bit in a few weeks. thank you all for being a part of my happy place, and i will be back as soon as possible.

just an update... still here. he was kicking me and evilgremlin out (took away my apartment key), but it looks like he has left instead. still has my key, but a friend let me know that he is looking for his own apartment tomorrow afternoon. hopefully the really intense ugliness will be over with soon. if he does show up in a rage again, i have the car packed and directions to the women's shelter.
and, cruelpupet, we have two pc's, and he can have the good one; i'll still manage to get my g|a fix...

I am glad I did it, but it made me a lot more careful the second time around.

everyone knows that welfare is a good friend of mine. of course i feel for her and will do whatever i can for her. i will also miss her.
that said....
i have to say this: i will take this kinda personally. in my divorce, my wife went around talking about me and everyone took her side. you know why? they heard her side first....i wasnt there to defend myself. of course when friends take your side without hearing the whole story, they don't necessarily consider all views. i never talked about it much, because i don't want people to blindly take my side.
in short...be supportive of her, by all means. but don't trash people if you have no idea what's going on

Feelin a little sad that you all gotta go through a divorce, but I don't know your situation, so I wish you well through this, and I'll be prayin that this isn't too messy of a split, and that things afterwards are better not only for you, but for the one on the other side and for your kid....
