Staples has Dragon Naturally Speaking Preferred Edition for $99.99 after instant savings. OD sells it for $179.99. After the 155% match (Another $44), OD's final price becomes $55.99. When you pick it off the shelf at OD, there's also a mail-in rebate coupon (good until 8/1/00) from Dragon for $50.00. Net price after match and rebate = $5.99 (plus applicable taxes)!!
Oh yeah, Staples is also selling Who Wants To Be a Millionaire 2 for $9.99. OD is at $19.99. Final price is $4.49.

Arghhhh! My brain is still asleep! It's Comp USA that has DNS Pref. for $99.99, NOT Staples! Sorry! (Millionaire IS at Staples!)

are you sure they do the pricematching after the instant savings price and not before?

I'm sure. "Instant savings" means the price you pay at the time of purchase. That'a what OD matches. I've got one of the Dragon boxes sitting right here beside me that I bought this morning. Price after match was $55.99 (plus $3.96 tax.) I've got the rebate certificate for the $50 in front of me on the desk.
I pricematch at OD almost every weekend and the vast majority of the competitors' prices say something like "$xxx.xx less $x.xx instant savings = $XXX.XX" As long as a store is offering "instant savings" or "in-store savings" or anything like that (not mail-in!) OD will match it.
