    Most fun car you've driven?

OK folks, what's the most fun car you've ever driven?

I'll start. This was easily the most enjoyable vehicle I've ever driven:

A 380hp RX7 is probably the second most fun. 360hp twin turbo Supra probably 3rd.

How'd you get a picture of my car... Ok yeah that's way over done.

Most fun car driven = Dodge Viper 400+ Hp

Ruf 993 CTR 2. 4 wheel drive. this bad boy sticks to the road like glue and is almost as fast as a ferrari. i had my doubts when i first stepped in, but after one min on the track, i was blown away. i cant even imagine how fast it would be if i knew how to shift more accurately.

Second would be a RennTech EV12, a maxed out Mercedes E-Class with a 7.0 liter v12. lots of reliability issues though.

third would be a 2001 BMW M5. dont know what was in it but it was fast.

the most fun car i've ever driven was prolly my friends 1980 vw rabbit. that car was so funny. when you gave it gas in 1st gear, it didn't really go, and then it would JERK forward. it was really a blast. like driving a go cart or something, but on the highway. it really was fun

but the fastest car i've ever driven is my brother's 3rd gen RX7, which is just so fast its sick.

Jeep Grand Cherokee in the mud, oh baby that was just too much fun compared to anything on the road, hehe.

    Hey Apex,
Now what exactly is that red car you posted? I can't make out what it is. My guess its a Nissan 240sx.

I would have to say that my funnest car is my 325i right now. I haven't driven many different cars so I kinda feel deprived.

The worst for me would be:
-'80 Toyota Cressida (My first car, had messed up alignment and very loose stearing wheel, weak brakes, etc...)
-'93 Mazda MX6. (No 'Zoom Zoom' there)
-'00 Infiniti I30. (loner car, lots of power, poor handling, cheap interior, etc...).

I think that RUF might have been a might quicker than a piddly Ferrari.

I've driven some nice cars, but bar none, the most fun car I ever drove was this POS VW Rabbit convertible I had between my freshman year and sophmore in college. It had MAYBE 60 hp, but you put the top down, throw three chicks in the car...man, you could floor it and it felt like you were just flying, but you'd never crack the speed limit...ah, good times, good times. Plus, it had the worst defroster of all time, making morning drives even more fun (look ma, I'm not even looking!). I think I had a rock go through the muffler at one point. That made it sound super racy.

Plus, you could park that thing in any space. I mean anything. I've always driven SUV's before and since...and I kind of miss that piece of crap.

That car is a Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec.

    Apex,

Did you drive the Skyline in the states? If so, was it imported by Motorex? I saw at least three of them when I was last in Hong Kong. Your picture doesn't do it justice, those are just beautiful and mean machines.

Yeah, I drove it in the states. It wasn't imported by Motorex, actually. Unfortunately, that pict was taken by a Kodak DC240 camera in near darkness. It's a sweet car. It's a bit large for my tastes (About the size of a mercedes CLK), but still absolutely incredible to drive.

If you want to see a real skyline, just hang out in Monterey Park, CA for about 5 minutes and you should see one. The first time i saw a 98 GTR was a couple of years back- followed it around and even talked to the owners! INSANE!! Otherwise, seen them at UCI, UCB, UCLA, etc etc.

The cars you guys drove are pretty wild! Most "fun" for me was actually the Honda S2K, stock. It was a blast, with the top down -through the twisties.

The most fun car I've ever driven was a Lotus (don't remember what year - the car OR the year I drove it, 'twas a long time ago) at a So Cal raceway with an out-of-town friend..

The second most fun car was my old '72 Porsche Targa. I loved that car and miss her...

My most fun ride now is my '96 MX-5 (Miata) M-Edition. She rocks

But somehow, I think THIS would be the Ultimate Fun Ride (<< video)

    Oh.. nice ride, Apex

    Thumbs up

Most fun car for me is a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T Spyder. Not much compared to some of yours, but is quite quick when the turbo kicks in and handles pretty well too. It's nice too when you can cruise around with the top down during the summer.

Best car I've every driven was a 427HP Dodge Viper. Took it out in the deserts around Las Vegas. WOOOHOOO! You can see down the road for miles... Unfortunately, the roll of pictures that we took got double exposed, so nothing came out. Boy did that make me mad. Oh well, guess I'll just have to do it again.

But I also have a lot of fun driving my own Jeep Wrangler off road. Can get a little harry at times. Like when I slid sideways into a ditch and was basically looking down at my friend in the passenger seat. But thankfully it didn't go all the way over. Took about an hour to get out though.

Best I've driven is my dad's CLK. And a Ford F-150. I know the F-150 is run-of-the-mill, but I love trucks.

i dont know if this is what Nija is talking about, but an 82 AM General would be a HMMWV, also known as a HUMVEE. but an 82 would have had to have been a prototype, since the first production HUMVEE was released in 85

"Best" car ever driven: CLK 430.

Besides the straight line acceleration, it didn't really feel all that special. Am I missing something here?

nope, the clk 430 is a "normal" benz. not really known for their sportiness, but more for solid, controlled and almost plush ride. if you want to feel something special, i suggest you take a ride in a bmw, preferably 5 series or smaller sedan, or any roadster.
