SS just wanted to game and sleep

I need to vent.
I've shared computers with my sibling over the yrs.
They have no concept taking care of the computer and to be careful when you download things from the net. Always the same answer, "I only download music and you cant get virus(i heard you can now) blah blah blah." I always find jpeg type files and short vid clips in the recycle. I tell them if your going to download, do it from a reputable site or scan whatever it is before installing/ executing/ bringing it in our computer. I ask them to note any settings changes and to let me know or set it back when finished.
There have been virus's and other things that have forced me to do clean Windows installs(dozens). Its good cuz i learned alot but after the last one i got my own computer and told em to fix it themselves.
So i get home late last night and plan on some gaming and sleep. Click the icon and get "retry no disc found.."
Do all the little things and go to check my hardware mng. No cd rom found. Than i find they spin but none of them read. I spend a couple of hours checking drivers and cables and switch cd roms( couldnt get to work cuz the floppy isnt reading).
They havent fixed their comp so i know they use mine. I ask them what they did and they say, "Nothing it was working fine last night blah blah blah", was the same answer as always. The thing is i dont know if i did something or they did something or a hacker got in or a cable is bad, etc.
Im feeling paranoid and dont want to lash out on them but ive spent dozens of hours trying to fix things that some guys could fix in a few minutes and some problems that even "experts" scratch their heads and ask, "what you do?"
