What would you want for christmas from your spouse?
I need help. My dad has no clue what to get my mom. I told him to just give her some romantic gifts, maybe something handmade. But i need help you see my mom went to hawaii with my grandma and now my parents are kinda on a budget and my dad doesn't know what to get her for christmas. What would you guys like from your husbands for christmas? My parents have been married for 26 years so i think they need to do the cute romantic gift things again cuz i know my mom appreciates those types of gifts but i have no idea what my dad can do. I usually would know what my mom wants but i don't live at home and i don't know any cute romantic gift ideas, so if you could please help me. My dad needs some ideas, it would be great if you could just give some examples of what you like or just cute things in general thanks.

Since they are on a budget and you are looking for something romantic and sweet, and they have been together for a while. Why not a nice photo album (or one that is a frame/album -- kinda looks like an album on a stand) and start with a wedding picture or one of the first pics of them together and then add on from there. I did this for a friend that was moving (we are in the military) and we had lived next to each other for 3 years (we are like sisters now) and she loved it! It showed our kids growing up next to each other and had a pic of her holding my newborn the day he came home from the hospital.
Some of the pics I even got from her! I borrowed them and made copies
(I told her I was scanning them into my computer

I'll tell you what is on my Christmas list...
Brighton jewelry...every year my dh buys me a new piece
or two. He loves buying me jewelry and would buy diamonds
if I would let him...although I hate
the high cost and this year it's NOT in the budget.
Earrings start at $20 and watches run between $75 and $100
and they have the greatest bracelets. I love the silver and
gold mix because it goes with either white gold or gold and
lets you mix and match.
The other thing on my list is the new fragrance from Ralph Lauren
called "Glamourous"...it is wonderful and around $50 a bottle.
For something a little less expensive...Bath and Body Works has a new
aromatherapy line and the "Orange Ginger" fragrance is divine. Lotion is 13.50 and also comes in bath salts, spray, etc. You can never go wrong with scented candles and they have lots of them as well...ooh,
I think I'll add scented candles to my list.
Happy Monday!

Thanks for the replies. Bath and body works that is a great idea he could make a cute basket of stuff since my parents have a jacuzzi bath tub. I bet there is a lot of cute things you could get and make a stress reliever basket. Thanks for the help i guess i just forgot about bath and body works. And the photo album is a great idea. I was also thinking he could get a wedding picture and get it made into a puzzle with a sweet note typed at the bottom and have my mom put it together and read the message. Who knows i will tell him your ideas and let him pick which one he likes. Thanks again.

oh by the way, Brighton? I have never heard of that where do you get that jewelry?

Brighton is available in nice gift and clothing boutiques and some larger cities have mall stores.
Here's a link to their website...
http://www.brighton.com/jewelry.html
Their website is terrible (picture quality) but you can get an idea of what they have. They also sell leather goods and purses which are much pricer. Most of the handbags run over $200 and are decorated with the same jewelry designs.

Brighton should be available in Riverside at Nordstrom's and someplace called Show Stoppers. Those are the only two retail
outlets carrying Brighton in Riverside according to the website.
I think I'll go check the Nordstrom's website and see if they have
Brighton jewelry and use the $15 off $25 coupon.
