    auto dial-up

    is there a way to hav my dial up connection automatccly conect when i turn on the pc?

    In IE under Tools.. Internet Options.. Connections, choose 'Always dial my default connection. Then put IE in your startup group. When IE starts, it'll dial your connection.

    well he has AIM and other chats so I think he can just leave those in the start up and not IE but change the setting like you said....

    Yes, just leave the dialer in the startup so it just runs when Windows starts. Then you can just start any program and you will be online. Sorta like broadband, but with weird noises and, of course, no broad.

    ok in control panel open internet options clik the conectios tab clik on the dial whenever a network connection is not presant and dada it'll dial up as soon as you start up
    if it was made by micrshaft its a virus
