Wireless Speakers?-please help me, i'm clueless.

I don't know much about home theater equipment, so be gentle with me.

I wanted to get my parents some nice speakers for xmas for the dining room and living room in their house, but running speaker cable all the way across the house from the receiver will be a huge pain in the arse. Are there any good wireless speakers out there? They don't need huge speakers because the rooms aren't giant, but somehting that ill give them good, reliable sound during dinner parties and such. Are wireless speakers worth it or should I be good son and put in the effort to run cable all the way around the house? I looked on Best Buys website and that was no help. They only had generic looking crap. Thanks for the input.

I think the only main stream affordable speakers are from recoton or advent. The others are too expensive or are meant for outdoor (shape of rocks and other things).

I have heard one model of the advents *forgot which one* but they weren't spectacular or nothing to be all hyped up about. Just the fact they are wireless. Quality felt near around the great crapiness of sony or so.

so the $180 at best buy for a pair of advents isn't worth it. even with my friends employee discount, I don't think it's worth it for "great crapiness."
