I got this by e-mail two weeks ago but the link still works. MyPoints Dining usually costs $9.95 a year but you can get it for free and get 100 points for signing up.

Can't say I never gave you anything!

I wouldn't suggest using that link. It goes to a dalc.com page that looks like MyPoints page and it's still dalc.com when you hover over the links on the bottom of the mypoints page. Sounds like a really shady way of getting referrals. Got it in email my.....

    :x

I could be mistaken, but this looks pretty shady to me. Usually when you use a mypoints link, it takes you to a real mypoints, not some copy.

I don't know, Maggie...the link took me straight to a MyPoints page about the dining. I'm not seeing what you saw, I guess.

Apparently mypoints links to dalc.com for this program instead of handling it themselves. I find it odd, but if I was able to find it on mypoints.com, I guess it's okay. Sorry!

    beware a similar link: http://www.dalc.com/asp/Newhome.asp?camp=dalcpoints
sure, you'll get 250 points (instead of 100) but you'll also be charged $9.95!

    Cool

I'm signing up right now. I made sure to read everything. It specifically says on the first page, "MyPoints® members are eligible to take advantage of a very special introductory offer. No enrollment or annual fee! That's right, Absolutely Free!". I also checked other links on the page about it. The only restrictions is how many meals will go toward it. It looks legit to me. I'll tell you if anything else happens.

    Question

This may sound like a stupid question, but what exactly can I get from enrolling in mypoints?

    Ugly,
www.dealhunting.com has lists of mypoint links... you can get like $30 in GC's to lots of places in just a few minutes. Another similar program is MultiKredits. There is also a list of those there.

MyPoints sends you emails that you click on to get points, you visit websites to get points, and you get points for spending money through their site and signing up for trial offers/website registrations.

Hope this helps. And thanks for all the freebies and deals you've posted lately! We appreciate ya!

    Ugly,

I got a $50 GC from Macy's during Mother's Day and I can already get another one. I love it!

Thanks MaggieOK and aznaphrodite! I appreciate your postings as well.

One more question: Approximately how many points does it take to get a $25 or $50 gift certificate? Thanks. For some reason, I can't seem to find info on redeeming that stuff. Trying to decide whether or not it's worth my time.

And thanks for that link, Maggie.

    Question

Please verify something for me. This is totally free? And if it is, how come when I click on the sign up link it prompts for a credit card number? I wouldn't want a charge to show up, because it is also a hassle to take it off.

Since you have to use your credit card at the restaurants and turn in your receipts, they want 3 credit card numbers on file for you to get the points. I would assume this keeps people from having everyone they know give them their receipts to turn in for points.

Unless it mentions a $9.95 fee, it's probably just to have it on file... if you go straight there via MyPoints site, there is a $9.95 fee for the service.

    Cool

I registered my credit cards. I don't think you have to turn in receipts. How it works is that you use your credit cards when you eat out like you normally do. If the restrauntant is one that is affliated with MyPoints, you will automatically get points for each dollar you spend (there are limits). They need the credit card numbers because only credit cards that are on file with them will get the points and this way the points will show up automatically when you use your cards at the restrauntants.

If you use the link in the first post on this thread, there is no annual fee.

I'm pretty sure this is how it works.
