if you leave your PS2 on all night your game will like auto shut down and when u try to play it again in the morning u will be at that Sony loading screen.. at least that is my expereince *shakes fist at GT# Endurance Races*

Done... 17 hrs to finish. Weird, twisting story, but very immersive and entertaining. Lackluster ending. Yet, a damn fine game. Very impressive both visually and acoustically(DD 5.1 is very cool on this game). Overall, I give it a 9.3/10...

Im a lil disappointed with the ending.

I the options menu there a Trails setting you can turn on and off. It's supposed to be for the lights and stuff that leave a slight trail. I can't really tell to much of a difference one way or the other, so I just leave it on.

The worst thing about these games is that they're SO fun, but once you get into it, it's over in a day or two... All that anticipation for a day of entertainment. I rented a PS1 and MGS1 from blockbuster a couple years ago and finished it in one night. My friend just played MGS2 and said it feels even shorter. He finished it in less than a day and too much of that time was from animation and not actual game play. But he admits it is a great game.

yeah all of these games for the PS2 dont take to long to complete. I found MG for the ps2 is shorter than MGS.
