Figures.
Now that I am moving in either a month or two (probably either December 20th or January 15th depending on when the house closes escrow), I was made into a temp (I was a student assistant before, I work at a college) and got a raise. Now I won't be around long to enjoy it!! aaaarrrrggghhhh.

It's just their way of messing with you. If you weren't moving they probably wouldn't have given you a raise.
Please refer to Murphy's Law.

No they gave me a raise cause I am the only trained part time person left, everyone else got other jobs and left. They don't know I am moving yet.

Well if they paid people fairly to begin with, they wouldn't have left.
Still, Murphy's Law applies.

For unskilled labor they pay alright. But yea people found better paying jobs, or they wanted something full time.
Oh well I guess. I knew I was going to leave eventually, even if I didn't move...it is just a part time job while I go to school. And yes I am going milk it haha and it will look good on my resume as far as salary history for the part time next job I get in CA. Yay
