Thought about downloading the new detonators until I remembered I don't have a functional GF2 anymore. :/

I say I notice no difference. I am still in Win2k, though. Once I boot back into XP again, I will let you know there, also.

I was cruising the web 2 days ago when all of a sudden the monitor blanked out. At first I thought the motherboard had died but it was still running okay. So I rebooted and the screen still was blank. Hmm. Then I tried out a Radeon, Voodoo 5 and TNT all of which worked with no problem. Uh oh looks like GeForce 2 GTS is dead. The GF2 GTS was tested out with 3 different motherboards {using 815, BX, Via chipsets) and it has not worked. The crappy fan doesn't spin and the heatsink doesn't even get hot. I know heat didn't kill it because I had a card cooler blowing right on it and the GTS was slightly overclocked.

The GeForce 2 GTS was bought in May 2000 and there is a 3 year limited warranty on it. Even though the videocard is old now its still useful. Creative tech support isn't all that good from what I've heard.

Right now I'm using the Radeon and its working well.

This kind of happened at a good time and bad time. Because I'm getting a new videocard very soon.

Ouch, were there any furry animals inside your comp SBP? Those are known GeForceII busters... especially rabbits and lemurs, ugh I shudder at the thought of those animals.

As for the dets, I'm gonna have to try that tonight, thnx for the reminder pagemap.
