Saw the musical AIDA in New York...its also playing in LA. It was great...highly recommend it.
I don't see musicals all that often...actually I've only seen a handful of them...but the one's I've seen are very enjoyable.

if you like comedy theres a play called " the abridged works of shakespeare" be sure to sit in the front row ( you ll get picked on) it was very funny.
