I have a 1Ghz processor but ever since I installed my new mobo(2 days ago), Wcpuid says that it is only running at about 500Mhz, before I put in the new mobo it was at 1000. How would I fix this... somewhere in bios?

What kind of processor.. what kind of mobo?
pIII 1ghz, msi mobo
Try messing around w/ the FSB speeds. Not sure about how Pentium goes. But makes sure it's at least 100MHZ
i changed it to 133 which is what its supposed to be and it still is around 500mhz
maybe your motherboard supports only 500 mhz??
