Cool If you got heat your cool

Heatware is an free online user evaluation database. Many folks around here have accounts. Heatware is a good way to see who the good traders are and who to avoid.

    Question

there is quite a bit of negitive feedback on the fourums for this software, seems like unless the seller has a large amount of good ratings your still taking a big chance.

Interesting indeed... sure as heck beats the old "get to know them for 2 1/2 years before you take em up on one of their great offers" tactic... then again that was before American Express & Pay Pal, but its more of a privacy trust thing.

Heatware is similar to ebay feedback, particulary for items sold thorough forums such as this one. The buyer and seller can leave feedback for each other, and if you are interested in purchasing an item you can check the sellers heat to help you evaluate the potential risk.

And yes, the site is still active.
    stay low... keep moving...

Heatware has added several new features in recent months including a trade organizer which is intuitive. http://www.heatware.com/whatsnew.php
This is by-far the most beneficial feature that has been added since the inception of HeatWare. For many years, HeatWare has been a site to goto to view a trader's reputability...and thats it. With the addition of the Trade Organizer, you can now track the status of your trades from one centralized location. No more using Excel, Word, or saved private messages from various forums!

This feature allows you to track the following things:
    1) The user you are in a trade with
    2) The forum/thread where the trade originated
    3) Description and cost of the items
    4) Payment details including: date sent/received, method, and amount.
    5) Shipping details including: date sent/received, carrier, speed, cost.
    6) Feedback status - Have you received an eval for all your trades?
    7) Receive notifications when a user leaves you feedback, ships/receives a product or sends/receives payment
    8) Anything! With the ability to write your own notes for each transaction, you can keep track of anything you want!

    Accessing your personal Trade Organizer
    1) Login to your account and goto your evals page. Click on the 'My Trade Organizer' link
    2) Login to your account, click on the Account menu option and choose 'Trade Organizer'

    To Begin Tracking A Trade...
    1) Find the HeatWare user you are trading with using the Directory and then click on the 'Add to Trade Organizer' link on their evaluation page.
    2) If the user you are trading with is NOT a HeatWare user, click on the 'Add New Trade' link on the Trade Organizer page

If you have any questions/comments/suggestions, please let us know!
