It is SOOOO good to be home!

Hrmmm, my holiday post. I will try and keep it short. LOL

Lessee, we left home on Saturday around 11:30, which is only running about 30 minutes-1 hour later than we wanted to.

Finally got to Oklahoma and the fighting began. *sigh* I swear, my sister still hasn't grown up, even after a semester away at college.

Had a good visit, minus all the arguing and fighting between my sister & me and my sister & my mom. And of course, I got extremely irritated with my mother many, many, many times, but for those, I just grabbed Scott, shoved him into the bedroom and vented to him instead of screaming at her. lol

Sunday night, dinner was hysterical. To fully appreciate the story, you would have to know my mom & dad, but... Anyway, it was an innocent comment made by one of us about my dad having a dip (meaning my sister) and he said he'd had 3 dips (technically meaning me, my bro & sis), and someone took that to mean 3 dips INTO my mother, which sent us all into hysterics. One of us started laughing and then the whole table was cracking up and tears were just pouring down our faces. My dad, who usually just thinks conversations like that are stupid and ignores them and rolls his eyes, said in the middle of all the laughter, "Your mother probably thinks that was 1 dip too many." He had gotten up to take his plate to the sink so his back was turned. My mom had her arms & head buried on the table laughing so hard we thought she was going to have another heart attack, and she silently raised her arm and 2 fingers, meaning, "2 dips too many."

hahahahaha We just cracked up again. I swear there were 5 of us who laughed for a good 20 minutes without stopping. We had just eaten dinner, so our stomachs were full and our sides hurt SOOOO badly. That story will make me laugh for years.

It was definitely the 2nd best (after watching Josh on Xmas morning

) part of our trip.

Anyway, got back tonight, have stuff all over the house (Josh got so many new toys there is no room for them in his room until we clean it out!), and am exhausted, but it is GOOD to be back!
