Porn ad in the search side panel in IE.

How do I remove a porn ad from the search panel. When I click the search button (I never use it but I happened to push it and I don't want that **** in there) it is just a porn ad (window) on the left instead of the search. Anyone know how to get rid of that?

    Very helpful. Thank you LP.

Porn sites are not the only places you get pop-ups for porn sites.

In win xp (so I dont know if it'll work in yours) go to tools, internet options, hit the programs tab, and there should be a button that says "Reset Internet Settings". Give that a try.
