Just got back from seeing it..it was an excellant movie..perhaps, one of Russel Crowe's best performances..anyone else see it?
No, haven't seen, it, but I heard that it was based on a book and real life events.
I have no doubt that it is probably one of Russel Crowe's best performances, however. He seems to get better and better as an actor. The other thing I like about him is that he has avoided being typecast very well. Despite huge role after huge role, he has still avoided being locked into any one genre.
Jim Carrey, who is IMO one of the best actors today, is still trying to dig himself out from being typecast as a goofy comedian. I think the Majestic did a lot for him, but he would be wise to try and learn a few things from Crowe.
It is not enough to merely touch the face of god; you also must open your eyes so that you may see your palm.




The real John Nash has a son with a woman who is not his wife..they did not portray this in the movie..and can someone explain the whole "PENNING" thing?
