    Josh's Birthday Party!

Oh my gosh, it went SOOO well! I had 8 kids call and tell me they could come (ok, their parent's called ) and all 8 showed up, thank goodness.

I was a little wary, because 6 of the kids are in his class at school but 2 of the kids are a little older (1 is Kyle, who's bday party he went to yesterday and had an absolutely horrible time, who is his best friend and 2 years older than Josh & 1 is Brooke, who is 1 year older than Josh and they call each other boyfriend and girlfriend. lol It's sooooo cute!). Anyway, I was afraid they would feel left out or something, but they joined right in. It was adorable!

A couple of times, a kid slipped or was accidentally pushed so we had a few tears, but they stopped almost right away. About 20 minutes into it, we had them all come sit down and gave out the cake. Had no spills of drinks (lots of cake on the floor, but who was I to care? lol We were at Burger King, so I didn't have to clean it up! ), no fussing, almost everyone wanted 2nd's so I gave them all a small piece the 2nd time.

Then they went and played for about 5 more minutes and someone came up and asked when Josh was going to open his presents. I had decided not to open them there, because I thought the kids were too young to want to sit still and watch and would want to play instead. But nope, I was wrong! lol So they all gathered around and sat on the floor and Josh opened them all. The kids oooohed and aaaaahed and Josh had a blast. All in all, it was a total success and my baby was happy, which is all that mattered.
