    Do you have back problems?

If you are like me, and chances are that you are, you sit in front of a monitor most of the day. Doing this is a great way to develop back problems. My question is, do you have back problems and if you do, do you think its from sitting at your desk all day?

yeah, i have problems but they stem from a car accident i was in at age 13.
i'm sure sitting in front of a computer all day doesn't help me. i know it doesn't do wonders for my eyesight

My lower back is all kinds of funky. It has been better lately since I've started exercising regularly.

My back get kinda cranky once in a while... but it's more due to lifting 19" and 21" monitors at work than it is sitting at a desk.

It's sitting at a desk that kills my wrists...

A lot of back problems are caused by stress. Just like a lot of headaches used to be. If you are having back problems (except through an obvious injury) you might consider stress reduction courses.

last year i had terrible back problems. i literally couldn't move they were so bad. the muscles were spazzing, and it it killed no matter what i did.

so i went to a doctor and htis is what i've determined (or what they said.)

    1. I need to get off my fat ass and lose some weight. mind you, i'm maybe 10lbs overweight. and not at all by most standards. but this is what they tell me
    2. I needed to start doing sit ups and crunches and working on my abs becasue you know, they are the front of your back. and so i did, and i felt much better.
    3. half of the problems are prolly in my head, because i'm not that much of an overweight weakling that i should be crippled by back pain.

so, they key to ending back pain is simply exersizing. who knew?

Had some back pains last year. It got fixed when I finally got around to getting a mattress instead of sleeping on the floor of my closet.
