history question... oliver north

sounds too perfect to be true, pretty sure it's an email urban legend... can anyone confirm that suspicion for someone too lazy to look it up?

Also, Senator Al Gore was not a member of the joint House-Senate Iran-Contra Committee and did not do any of the questioning."

This was on the news a few weeks ago. They played the actual video clip. It was not bin Laden, it was Abu Nidal, another terrorist.

But I couldn't remember the exact conversation. Good thing to know for future reference though!
