    scholarships

    hey, im sure most of you are college students....how are you guys paying for your school, specifically, what scholarships did you apply to?

    for me: loans and scholarships. your school's career center should have all sorts of resources for you. some schools even have a scholarship resource center. grants are the best b/c they are free money with minimal work. but you have to qualify and they are need-based. some scholarships are a ton of work, but hey, it's free money.

    you can also try www.fastweb.com but i never got any of the scholarships they sent to me. it was a lot of useless emails. not quite spam, but they'd email me about scholarships that really had nothing to do with me even though the scholarships "fit my profile" according to them. you can try it if you want, but don't get your hopes up with them is all i'm saying
