    Question winipcfg in win2k?

    Is there an equivalent program, to quickly show/release IP addresses, gateway, etc?

    I always did it at the command prompt.

    Just type ipconfig /?

    winipcfg in Win2k

    Micro$oft includes the app "wntipcfg.exe" on the Win2k Resource kit, or here:

    http://www.microsoft.com/WINDOWS2000...wntipcfg-o.asp

    It produces the same interface as "winipcfg," allowing the same "Release" and "Renewal" functionality of "ipconfig," only via a GUI, for those who are addicted to it.

    You can get programs that do the same thing as TweakUI though. And for Win2k, there is a TweakUI, you just have to install it separately and its not on the CD. I found it on microsoft's site once.
