Hello ladies and gentelmen, first post first question

for my first post i would like to ask a question

i have 2 old speaker boxes2 with blown woofers. there early 90s floor standing 2-way speakers with a 10 inch woofer. due to time and excessive use, the woofers on both speakers have blown out. this is not my primary home audio system, obiviously, but it would be nive to put the speakers back into use

so my question is
1) can i replace the woofer and have it sound decent?
2)how much do new woofers typically cost (im not talking about radio shack stuff)
3) has anyone done this and with what results?
4) where would i buy this new woofer?

go to partsexpress.com to get the new speakers. Make sure you match the speaker to the enclosure size.
