    Poem XVI

    Chase


    I know what I want
    I know what it is
    and I see it right in front of me

    But it never gets closer

    Like a carrot on the a stick
    it tempts me like a mule
    and so remains out of reach

    A donkey at least
    Sometimes gets the carrot
