and anyone else as disappointed as I am

shouldn't have made a valentine's day one if it was gonna be as disjointed and non-flowing as it was

I was at scouts last night and missed it. I love Charlie and the gang. Is it the same one they have always ran? If so, what was so wrong with it?

    and.....I don't think so.
    from abc's website:
    A Charlie Brown Valentine
    February 14, 8/7c

An all-new PEANUTS special, A Charlie Brown Valentine, produced and animated by the same team that gave us the now classic PEANUTS holiday specials and taken directly from the late cartoonist Charles M. Schulz's famed comic strip, marks the first newly created programming from the PEANUTS team in several years.

A Charlie Brown Valentine is taken directly from the vast number of archived strips that Schulz themed to the popular February holiday. In this special, Charlie Brown finally works up the courage to call the little red-haired girl to ask her to the Valentine's Day dance. But once again he ends up broken-hearted and empty-handed when he dials the wrong number and reaches Peppermint Patty instead.
    it's all-new.
What it seemed like they did was that they took a whole bunch of animated pieces (animations of a strip cartoon) and just pieced the pieces all together to make it flow as best as they could...
the result...."what the heck, I thought valentine's day already past, why is valentine's day next week now?"
