What is the best place to buy contact lenses for the best price?

i heard www.more.com is good, but judging from the other posts, it doesn't sound like it has the BEST price. but, i saw on the news that there was going to be a ban on selling contacts online or something to that effect. its because when you buy contacts online, they dont always fit right. i dunno just thought i'd share that. its just not always a good idea to buy contacts online from what i hear.

Actually a customer of mine was going to get into this business, and we found that http://www.lensesforless.com/ had the lowest prices, beating 1800-contacts by far. Check them out, as they are only making money on shipping, take this from someone who knows the price structure, as 1-800 Contacts does not deal directly with J&J and B&L to purchase contact lenses. 1-800 Buys through black market dealers, which mostly are small time optical stores, and marks up the percentage by as much as 20%. They are not legally allowed to purchase from J&J or B&L because they have no Licensed Opticians who are on their staff, or are willing to pass out prescription orders based on a guestimate in chances of being held liable for malpractice. Basically lenseforless does not mark them up 20%, they make their money on shipping, which is very minimal at best. Plus all of your lenses will be coming direct from the manufacturer, through a special distribution chain. So basically they may charge 5 bux for shipping, which they basically take home, and then pass the order directly to J&J, and they ship to you.

This may be over exagerated for the normal user, but I did alot of research for this, and spent around 3 months on it. lensesforless does a good job on every aspect of things, and they are honest and good. I only wish the client I have would have decided to get into the business before lenseforless did.

I've used Lensdoc.com a few times and dont have any complaints, and their prices are great!

Thats exactly why my client pulled out at the last minute really, and 1-800 Contacts could be in for a world of hurt. They did 28 million in first quarter of internet sales. It will only be time, but at some point someone will sue the hell outta someone and ruin it for many, on the other hand, it is a "prescription" and it should not be something to be taken lightly. Good luck, and btw lensesforless sells it for what they pay for it, and according to the J&J contact, it is the best price he can possibly offer to any reseller.

I found that getting in my car and driving down to COSTCO gets me the best price. Couldn't beat them online at any of the places I tried.

I got 2 boxes of Acuvue Disposable Lenses fro 35.92 shipped from More.com, and because I spent over $25, they gave me a free $25 Gift Certificate from 1800GiftCertificates (you have to put it in your basket, and it comes separately from the contacts). So, for $35.92, I got 2 boxes of contacts, dinner at the Olive Garden, and it also comes with a free starter kit with fluid and a case.

I've been using 1800contacts for a couple years now and I've had great service from them. shipping is free and they ship real quick too.. i think 4 boxes of acuvues came out to $79.95 or something like that..

dont u need to get the right prescription from your eye doctor...does disposable contact or extended wear contact, which one have advantage over the other or both are the same???what r the best brand for extended wear contact for your buck???thankz for the help...
