Uni sex class axed after orgy

The University of California at Berkeley, one of the best colleges in the States and known for being open minded, has suspended a male sexuality class after allegations surfaced that students watched their teacher have sex at a strip club and participated in an orgy at a class-related party.

"Those sorts of activities are not part of the approved course curriculum," university spokeswoman Marie Felde told the Sacramento Bee.

A female sexuality course is also under review. Despite the titles, both genders can attend either male or female sexuality classes.

The classes are part of the university's "democratic education" programme, which is not funded by the university. It is organised by student instructors and can be taken for credit toward graduation.

Christy Kovacs, a first-year college student enrolled in the male sexuality course who attended the party where the orgy allegedly took place, said attending the gathering was not a course requirement.

"It was just a fun, harmless get-together," she told the Sacramento Bee. "Anything weird that did go on was kind of behind closed doors, and no one really knew about it."

Well, I took the class back when the curriculum was organized a lot tighter. It seems to have just gotten a little too "loose" for my tastes now.

This got so blown out of porportion. First porn and erotica is such a small aspect of the curriculum (about a 1/5). Second not everyone particpated in the questionable activities, hell there were people at the party who didn't even know that an orgy was going on (behind closed doors). And thirdly, it's a college party, so of course there's going to be an orgy. :sure:
