    How To Turn A TV Set Into A Projector??

    i heard that you can change/modify a small tv set 12" into a projection TV....it might not be great...but if you have a small TV it might be worth it to tinker around with it???....but does anyone know where i can get the kit or how i can do this??

    well i guess i can try out the ebay one...hehe.. 4$ not too much to risk for a chance to change my 12" to a 90"..it sucks to play PS2 and Xbox on a friggin 12"...maybe i should save money on the video game console..and buy a real tv -=P

    Basically, these things involve building a cardboard or plywood box to fit around your TV which is projected through a type of magnifier lens. Imagine taking an image that is 12" in size and then expanding it to be 100". As you probably guessed, the image quality will be terrible.

    I don't know playing around with a charged CRT is not my idea of fun... Ouchie!!! Also increasing the brightness is not good for the phosphor and could result in screen burn in... Seems like the same could be accomplished with a funhouse mirror and some duct tape...

    I am sure this ISF certified...
