Mulholland Drive: One Big WTF?

Finally saw Mulholland Drive at a discount theatre Monday night. Can't beat paying $1 for a movie!

Talk about a totally bizarre movie! David Lynch takes the cake again. If you've every seen Lost Highway, you'll know how bizarre Lynch's movies can really be.

I won't spoil the plot for anyone, but at the end of the movie, some things were made clear and realized by me, but other things we still extremely confusing.

One big plus about this movie is the duo of Laura Harring and Naomi Watts. They get all kinds of nekkid in this movie!



A big WARNING for the ladies: if lesbian scenes make you uncomfortable, this movie might not be for you. Guys, the same thing goes for you as well, but if this does apply to you, something is terribly wrong with you!

Overall, I would have to highly recommend this movie to people that enjoy a good mind teaser. It's definitely a mind trip!

The first half of this movie was a well paced thriller... but the second half lost both me and the three other people I was with. Looks like David Lynch can get financing for anything. No, the lesbian scene didn't bother me but it was a little funny. Small town girl comes to Hollywood to become actress and lesbian. Both actresses were very good.

not to be a bottom dredger...but i just saw this movie lastnight. i loved it...and i have a few interpretations of the final hour of the film. i think that's a sign of a great director/writer, if the film leaves you pondering meaning.

the lesbian scenes were grrrreat by the way...

besides that, it was great...and if y'all want to open this thread up into interpretations and spoilers, i'll give my 2 cents.

i searched here looking for some sort of explanation to this movie, which i just saw for the first time.

i have my theories, and for me they fit pretty well, but i've seen the movie three times, so i've had plenty of time to think and rethink and verify my ideas.

then again, they're just theories, and they could be wrong. who really knows what the hell is going on in david lynch's head anyway.
