port is good. white port is not great, dry white port sucks, a good red port... ambrosia! port with stilton and fresh sourdough... heaven! port with chocolate poundcake with fresh cherries... the perfect dessert!
it's unfortunate that i have developed an expensive taste...
j/k. i am currently drinking a south african port, cheetah valley 1997, i believe the bottle was under $15... not as complex as the portugese stuff my parents brough me back from their last trip (porto calem) ... but good stuff!
port is definitely not something you drink to get stupefied... hmmm... does this mean i'm, like, "all grown up" and stuff?
/me eats a chicken nugget off the floor to ward off impending maturity...
anyone wanna reccommend good ports under $25 a bottle?
