What's with Marilyn Manson's left eye?

I saw a picture the other day of that whacked-out idiot in a magazine and I was wondering what's up with his one eye?

it's a myth that he had his lower 2 ribs removed so he can suck himself, he was on a show with someone, don't remember whom, and he actually took his shirt off and counted the ribs... he is soo ****ing scrawny.

Second the whole eye thing, it's not just a contact lens, he was giving a concert a while back, and he was playing around with a rotary saw, in any case the blade popped out hit him in the face, he lost his eye.
so it's not a recent thing, i've had this picture (look at the eye) from about march of 98 but the accident happened a while before that. By the way his book is amazing.

not adressed by snopes, (but i did confirm there that he has all his ribs and was not the kid on the wonder years

) but there are a million websites saying "he dint stab himself in the eye; it's a lens."

just google for marilyn manson contact lens. (and if you want to insist that they're ALL wrong, find me any news article about the supposed accident... cuz there woulda been plenny...)

A lot of Marilyn's life is hype and rumors....but he fuels off of that. I'm sure he likes it when people hear rumors about him. He creeps me out....

i wouldn't really trust anything the guy wrote in his book, because the purpose of the book was to further his mystique...

Judging by the quality of his music and lyrics? Not very well!

Of course, maybe if he had two good eyes, he'd be able to put his makeup on properly.

Being partially blind is the only way I can explain that wardrobe...

Michael Jackson had the white glove, Manson has the messed up eye and two missing ribs. Both will be washed up in a matter of a year or two. Jackson keeps trying to come back, but it just cant happen.

Jackson has maintained a pretty good status overseas. Manson's popularity has gone down quite a bit, at least with music over here.

jackson might be a weird guy, but he has talent and charisma. nobody can deny what he has done. with that much talent and the ability to get the best behind him, it wouldn't be hard for him to make a comeback...but i had no idea he went out of the public eye really. he may not have as much stuff on the chart right now, but who knows if that's what he wants right now
