    yay for mojo!

i not only appreciate mojo's efforts to keep us informed about the somewhat "offbeat" side of the news, but also his intelligent and thoughtful contributions to many discussions around here. there are some posts that you read and it's obivous that the poster was just talking out their ass (i know i'm guilty of that). i rarely see mojo do that, and i think he deserves a big

I can't figure out the woman talking on the phone at the bottom of his page, though. What is the point of this? Is it sarcasm or is it supposed to be funny? There must be a hidden meaning that I am not aware of.

i think the point is that in a cutesy little 50's-style ad about how the telephone is the vehicle for those special "lifetime moments," you would expect i-love-you's and hi-gramma's. it's along the same lines as a "cards hallmark never made" joke. (ex.: "congratulations! this baby's daddy isn't in prison! 3rd time's a charm!)
