S: Once and Again going off the air

Ok, I realize that by saying this I may have to hand in my boys and start wearing some nice silky underthings, but I am actually upset that Once and Again is going off the air.

My Fiance and I have been watching this show since it first aired and always thought that it was a really good show. But for some reason, it has never done good in the ratings. They kept switching the day and time to find a good time slot and even tried to make the plots spicier. (Such as making the one daughter a lesbian, a student/teacher affair (or appearance of), a major car accident, illicit drug use, and such)

So the show disappeared for a month or so and then came on for a couple more episodes that will culminate tomorrow night. I think its a shame that a show with such a good cast and story line is going to fade into the darkness of cancelled shows.

Well what can you do, I know that a bunch of people actually did a writing campaign to get them to keep the show on, but apprarently it was insufficient. Such is life, just venting. Feel free to make fun of me or add your own good comments.

This has been one of my favorite shows and I nearly cried when I found out they were cancelling it. ABC did a SHI*TY job of pushing it, moving it from timeslot to timeslot, etc.

    OMG, I'm bawling!

I just watched the last show. I didn't cry until she said she was pregnant and then I quit and now I'm bawling again when they were telling their thoughts at the end. Dammit. lol

Well, I watched it last night and found the last episode to be very sad. I mean, they were screaming at each other and fighting...although I guess it was just the hormones. My fiance actually pegged that she was pregnant at the beginning of the episode but I figured they wouldnt end it on that note. I ate my words.

The interaction with the cast and crew at the end of the show was kind of sad too. They were all really into the show and you could tell. If you noticed a couple of them seemed to hope that someone else would pick up the show but didnt think it was likely. I guess that is why they left a lot of things hanging (in case someone else wants the show).

Overall, I have to say that I am still upset that the show was cancelled...I think it had a lot of good things to say and should have been able to stay for the long haul.

Hmmm....I never actually watched the show, but I've heard previews for it on the radio and stuff, and it actually sounded good. And the preview they were playing for the series finale, actually made me want to cry when I'd hear it because it sounded so sad. Now I'm mad I missed what was prolly a good show.

The lesbian daughter is pretty hot.
