GT3 help

when you win a series of races and there are 4 blacked out cars rotating in the 'congratulations, you've won a car' screen...how do you pick the car? a friend of mine told me that all you have to do is hit the button when the platter is underneath the car you want...i try and get no feedback and it seems the car choice is random...any help? i see a blacked out skyline after the first gt world championship and i keep getting the miata...ugh

You cant pick your car... its a random selection. Althought, in most races you can kinda "pick" it.

Do this.

In a 4-race series for instance, make sure and win the first 3 races. Then, save your game at the end of the third race(next to last). Start the final race, exit out without racing it(you'll win the series anyways because of your points lead). It'll randomly select your prize car then. If you dont like it, reset your PS2 and reload your game. Repeat until you get the car you want. There's a lot of lists out there of the prize cars for each series. I'm jsut a lil busy right now or I'd go look one up for you...

You dont have to reset the ps2, just load the saved game. Its a bit faster. I did just that to get the "right" prize cars. Winning the right prize cars makes the game hella easier.

Wrong game. We're talkign about Gran Turismo 3, not Grand Theft Auto 3.
