    I need an alternative

Ok, I currently use Nero to backup my data from my computer, but recently its been leaving a gap in the data on the cd which causes it not be read by my computer. I tried installing EZ CD Creator but its saying that I am missing ISScript.msi.

Is there another program that I can use that might be able to fix the above mentioned problem?

DO NOT install Nero & EZ CD Creator on the same PC - they hate each other. The install programs step all over the other's files, so in the end both programs are flaky. Uninstall both & then re-install whatever you want to use.

There's a page somewhere that details this incompatibility, but for the life of me I can't find it anymore - sorry.

I have also heard somewhere to never install to CD burner programs on the same computer. The advice is to remove one before installing the other.

Heh, I don't know what either of you are talking about. On one of my systems, I have Easy CD Creator, Nero, and CloneCD installed. Don't have a problem using any of 'em

If you use Win2K, don't use EZCD 5! I have both Nero and CloneCD with WinXP and it's still working fine!

For those of you who have had problems, did any of you download the updates? Thats what I did at least.. I'm not sure if thats the reason why my system turned out fine.

Yes, if you load EZ-CD on W2K or XP, be sure you get the updates from the website or you may find yourself looking at a blue screen. Even after the updates I've never had luck running more than one burner program on the same system...
