    NHL Picks?

Just wanted to see who you people are voting for to survive round 1 in the West.

I'm betting Detroit in 7, Colorado in 5, Sharks in 6 and Blues in 6.

I know squat about the east, so I'm just going to stay out of THAT one...

I predict the Flyers will score a goal sometime next season...
Shall we buy a new guitar?
Shall we drive a more powerful car?

poor bastids, how long's it been? 8 years?

Anyway, Here's what I got in the second round:
    Boston over Ottawa in 6
    Toronto over Jersey in 7
    Colorado over Vancouver in 6
St. Louis over San Jose in 5

Not a bad choice. Having Forsberg back and playing well so soon has gotta be one hell of an inspiration for them.

St. Louis is looking good too.

At the beginning of the season I picked the Fliers and have stuck with that until only recently. Unless they pull their shizzit together and win 3 in a row (after getting SHUT OUT three in a row), then they're out.

Here's a prediction that I do not hesitate to make: Sabres will win the cup by 2005 at the latest.

Heh, figures. Not a single one of my matchups came thru. Carolina over Jersey was an even bigger suprise than Montreal over Boston. I don't think Detroit will go all the way, and with Vancouver's excellent start against them, I thought the Canucks would be the team to knock them out. Perhaps St. Louis will, the Blues have been hot with Johnson in goal.

Is it me or are the Ref's just horrible this year....?

I know some teams and players get more calls than the others... But

Way to many cheap shots in the Toronto Series...

    Same with the Habs...

I'd like to see them call a consistent game... And hve no cheap shots is that to much to ask...?

You said it man!!! The reffs were terrible, Toronto won, but they won't get far, I would rather see Islanders loose with dignity (yesterdays game) then loose like loosers (Toronto's future)

I'm pulling for my team the Wings. I've been with them a long time and they have and all star roster this year with a kick ass season so I'd hate to have em' blow it now (even though that ususally happens)

My vote = Wings in 5
You know what cheers me up when I'm feeling ****ty? Rolled up Aces over Kings.
