    CDRW/DVD Drives

I was installing a CDRW and a DVD drive under Win2k. When I connected the audio cable, there is only 1 input for my Creative Live! Value sound card but I have 2 audio cables (one is from the CDRW, and the other one is from the DVD drive). In this case, I can only use DVD-ROM as my audio source? Or there is a solution? Thank you!

Yeah, I think there is an AUX input. So I just connect one cable to AUX and the other one to CD?

Yeah you can put it in any of the available slots, TAD, AUX, etc. No problem or differences with quality. Just remember which one is to which port so that under the volume control you know which slider controls which device.

What about using the 2 pin SPDIF cd digital cable that came with the SBLive? Most DVD drives come with digital output.

    sbp,

Thanks for your info. I will take a look inside my DVD drive box again but I couldn't recall there are 2 cable? It's Lite-on 16x.
