    Credit card balance transfers

Does anyone know what's the best credit card to do low or no interest credit card balance transfers? Also, are the transfers free or do they charge for them? Yup, charged another vacation!

Just check your junk mail, I'm sure there's one in there. You can also call your CC company and ask for a rate reduction; just tell them you have an offer from another card (they may ask for proof, just keep those ads). There should never be a balance transfer fee. If your CC charges you one, get a new card.

Your credit cards should explain to you their rates, fees, etc. on your statements or original paperwork.

Do the balance xfer over the phone rather than mailing it in. This way if they want to charge a fee you can make a little stink. If you do they will most likely waive the fee.
