Bruce Campbell Vs. Army Of Darkness

I just picked this up from Wal-Mart tonight for $12.34. This is a great movie, I'm watching it now as I'm typing this. This is the director's cut which has a bunch of extras.

At least I didn't buy the 'normal' version of this DVD first. I've done that with a couple movies, then a better version was released. I still have to decide to whether to get Monty Python And The Holy Grail - Special Edition. I already have the original release.

does it have the alternate endings???
Am I alone here? Is that it?
Am I the only one who sees.

Maybe we can learn to be just like him.

    Yes, sir.
    No, sir.
    Thank you, sir.

The ending is different than the original film. I'll have to look at the 'extras' and see what else is on the DVD.

I have the "official bootleg edition" and it has the original ending on it. I just wish the DVD had both endings rather and an either/or.

My DVD version has the alternate ending, but unfortunately, it doesn't have any sound.
It is not enough to merely touch the face of god; you also must open your eyes so that you may see your palm.

    That's what I thought too...

My card/DVD drive doesn't autoread the DVD for some reason, so I have to load the .vob files inorder to play the movie. For some reason, though, the alternate ending has no sound.
