Was anyone in D.C. area at the Gala at Union Station This weekend?
I was there, for the graduation gala for George Washington U. and I had a great time dancing, mingling, etc..the band in the main room was great, but I never did make it to the other room to hear the big jazz band. Hubby wore his very scottish smart dress-his kilt, ghillies, bohdran etc..he looked cool.I hate driving in D.C..people are in such a hurry.

Didn't go. I was at my local celebration at The Taste of Wheaton.
Sample food from neighboring restaurants for a $1.
Mmm...good.

Binghamton area actually, and yes it was a long drive, but we went to the graduation ceremonies for my nephew
....well worth the drive. What were all the signs downtown about a chili cookoff? We couldn't figure out what the lines of people were from all standing by locked gates waiting for something to open..we also had those walk about radios to keep in contact with the 3 other cars that went to D.C. together and we kept intercepting conversations about people meeting each other at the beer tables. I don't know what they were doing but they sure looked like they were having fun.
