Sup everyone:

With all the replies to my post, I am going to buy a CS server along with a few of my friends. About 8 of us are going to chip in a few dollers a month, and depending on the progress of the server, we might get two (depending on how many play regularly and if we reach our limit).

Server also comes along with web hosting services, so in time I will have a G|A? stats page, etc.

So keep your heads up, and keep playing Counter-Strike, because we might have our own Got|Apex? server

I'll post more news here on the progress...
(NOTE: By the time we do purshace, it takes about two weeks to get the server up and runing)

I dont won't to intrude on you guys but ironchef and me admin a CS server for a buddy. We've been at for a couple years now and have finally gone all out with a webiste, stats and forums. If your intersted stop by at www.dexworld.kicks-ass.net .

How many people are usually on the server? Is it ok if we use yours for now?

I know I can get a server up no prob, cost won't hurt us at all...just gona take a little bit to get it up. I have finals next week so taking it slow right now. Weird tho...I think I visited that site before!? Well I'll try to visit the server later this mornin and maybe play one of you guys if you are there.

It's usually full at 18 but can be a little slow in the mornings. As far as locking the server down for something you would have to ask dex himself since he owns it.

Actually it's ok, I'm just going to get a server. I think I have enough people to help pay so that the cost will only be 2 dollars a person. If we run out of room,we can get two...but the server will be password protected so only apex people can get in.

Maybe I can talk to dex later once im done with finals, and see if we can set up the long awaited tourney With 2 servers, we could have it goin this summer no prob...
