Infinity Speakers

I was looking at some of those Infinity speakers on UBID. The power capacity on some of them are pretty high.
I am thinking of eventually filling in for some local neighborhood spots for Karaoke. Could any of those freestanding speakers be used in small bars without any problem, or is there something unique about DJ speakers that are missing in the high end home theatre speakers?

DJ speakers tend to be built more solidly (you can bang them around), and can take more abuse from the extreme highs/lows and distortions of professional amps. Home theater speakers put out more quality sound, but cannot take the same level of abuse.

Thanks... so I guess if a person was careful using them, there would be no problem. However, the likelihood of that happening frequently is probably small.
