Thread: Scooby!

    Scooby!

LP, your kid, if she watches the cartoon, will love the scooby movie. It did freak Mikey out once, but he soon recovered.

It was basically the cartoon with the twist that they had split up for a bit. The CGI bits were cool. Good enough to make it a cartoony feel.

The villian is a great surprise ending and "Mr. Bean" is great in it. (can't think of his name )

And neonopolis, here in Vegas, gave out really nice posters to each family. (we got two) The poster is the double sided kind that you would illuminate from behind

I don't think it would be any fun without the drug and sexual references that I heard they left out.

We LOVED the movie! Josh laughed the whole time and several times yelled (at the top of his voice, of course): "Scooby Doo! Where are you?" *sigh*

Scott & I laughed and loved the uh, references to more adult things.

    Do that.

Unless you have kids, this movie is cute, but definitely passable.

We had to see it because the BF is the biggest Matthew Lillard fan out there. I have to hand it to Matthew Lillard, though -- he was great as Shaggy and had the voice and gestures down PAT!

I was kind of hoping that they'd vamp up the storyline a bit to target the adults too (Pixar and Disney do this really well) ... but they didn't.
