Question...DVD Player Setup
I just purchased a refurbished Toshiba SD3755 from uBid. I do not have the best tv in the world, so the video is being fed through my VCR until I can afford to get a new tv. When I got everythign hooked up and put a disc in to test it out, it continually went from a clear picture to a fuzzy mess. Could this be from running it through the VCR, or would you guess that it is something wrong with the DVD player? I am going to get a modulator tomorrow to try running the DVD player directly into the TV, but I wanted to get someone else's opinion. Thanks.

It's from running it through the vcr.

Thank you almighty one. That was my original thought, but I was not 100% certain.

I'm glad I have my Apex AD-600A DVD player. Macrovision, we don't need any stinking Macrovision.
To answer the modulator question: A modulator would convert the video to a signal that could be input to the TV antenna. It's like the old video games that connected to your TV and had to be on channel 2 or 3. The drawback is that the picture is not going to be as good as using VHS or SVHS input on the TV.

Here is the RF Modulator that I got. It is hooked up and works perfectly. Kinda nice to have 3 sets of inputs, only problem is that I have to get up to go hit the button to switch the signal over to DVD Player. Other than that, no noticable signal loss....well, minimal at least.
