Hey,
I figured I'd give everyone some general CP info. It's pretty long, so skip it if you don't want to read through it!
After the 10:50 pm-ish sports code is given, switch the channel to UPN 13 quickly and sometimes you can catch that code as well. They seem to give most codes at the very end of shows. The UPN code is also sometimes given out at the end of the People's Court show between 6:50 and 7 P.m.
The Ryan Seacrest code has been given out between 5:55 and 6 p.m. ever since it moved there.
I found out from CP that they put up prizes for "sale" after 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 7 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 11 p.m. So, if there's something you really want, check at those times. I recently got a total of 29 tickets to the Gulls game and the Austin Powers Pictionary game!
I set my VCR to record the morning show and at the times the codes are given. The morning trivia question is on the site by 10 a.m., which is about when I get up :-) I check the question and then rewind to get the answer.
The number to fox 6 is (858) 279-6666. The receptionist that answers is the same person you pick up prizes from. Monica is the main person that deals with Couch Potato.
