    What do you pay for...

The "how much do you make" poll got me thinking about what we pay for stuff, and how it differs in other parts of the country. So enter your own numbers in this list (or add your own items to the list.)

    Location: Rural Minnesota

    Loaf of bread: $0.99
    Gallon of milk: $1.99
    Movie ticket: $4.50
Babysitting (not daycare): $1.00 per child per hour
Meal for 2 at McDonalds: $8.00
Meal for 2 at "nice" resturant: $30.00
Meal for 2 at "fancy" resturant: we don't have them here!
1 bedroom apartment rental: $350 per month
3 bedroom house on average lot: $80,000
Electric bill for that house: $100.00 per month
Property taxes on that house: $700.00 per year
Insurance on that house: $500 per year
    House cleaning: $10.00 per hour
Full coverage car insurance (over 25, average car): $100 per month
