cd-r duds?

i bout a 100 pack of pny cd-r's from bestbuy. i keep trying to burn them but it keeps giving me errors. im using nero. but the thing is, that nothing is burnt onto the discs when i get the error. the burner works with other discs. should i, and can i, go return the spindle for a new one? or is it my program and setup? i have a sony 24x12x40 drive

i have had some success with PNY, but i have found they are not the greatest of CD-R's. They have more problems than most other discs have.

I've had that problem before on a spindle I bought of a different brand. They just wouldnt burn anything onto them. They let me return them.

Return them. Half of the spindle I got was messed up. The silvery layer was either peeling off or I got just plain ole plastic discs with no silvery layer to burn onto.
